Food: Ordered the DBD set $170 which comes with Manila clams, giant clam, mussels, shrimp, eel, hagfish, oyster, scallop, abalone, lobster, live octopus and sides.
This was my first time eating live octopus and it was quiet the experience. I am fine with eating raw fish, but once they are moving and suctioning to your mouth it is a whole new level. The octopus was bite sized and marinated in sesame oil. It might be a tug battle trying to get the octopus off the plate as it suctions for whatever life it has left. The other items were fresh and still moving when they were being grilled on top of the charcoal. If you want to see animal cruelty, Korean seafood barbecue is where it's at. Overall everything was good and sweet. They have an all you can eat menu as well for $52 per person. My party had 4 people and we were struggling trying to finish the DBD set. +1 point for being a low carb meal!
Parking: There is a lot in the back. It was pretty full when I arrived but I found parking immediately. The restaurant is located in between two churches.
Service: The service was great and servers came around making small talk. They helped us cook a majority of the food.
Price: For seafood and the amount of food we received, I think it is affordable. Probably won't be eating this every night, but whenever I want Korean seafood bbq I will come here. -

Whenever you're feeling grilled seafood, come here! For 3 people we got the set A, which comes with a variety of seafood, corn and egg souffle, and noodle soup at the end. If you kindly ask for shisho, they will give it to you. Grab a few pieces of clams and dip it in the gochujang put it in your shisho leaf. Now eat it like a burrito, it will melt in your mouth. The noodle soup at the end they give you is probably the highlight of the whole meal. Its DELICIOUS and I would go back there JUST for that.
The service is alright, nothing special. They take chopsticks and move the coals around so sometimes ashe will come up and get in your food. But don't be so mad! It is all about the experience.
Parking in the back is free and convenient. -

Fresh. If you haven't tried seafood KBBQ, you're missing out. This is a Great meal to share with friends and you don't feel heavy even after eating a TON.
Don't try to go through the front door, it's locked. You need to go around back to the parking lot entrance. However, is it truly authentic if you don't enter by the dumpsters??
The waiter was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered set A for 2 people ($64.99) and it was PLENTY of food. The two of us are big eaters and we were stuffed. The set came with lots of clams, 4 mussels, 4 head on shrimp, 4 scallops, 2 oysters, sweet/spicy octopus, scallop stew and potatoes. In addition, you get sashimi salad, scallion pancake, scallop and cheese steamed egg, cheese corn and at the end, a noodle soup. It was A LOT!
We opted to try 2 live abalone as it was our first time trying them this way. They didn't disappoint. They went right from the tank to the grill.
Using real charcoal for the grill makes a big difference in the flavor.. this was a real Plus in my opinion.
I think overall the meal was great. The waiter helped cooked all of our food and nothing was over cooked. He was very attentive without being overwhelming. The set was a great value.
That all being said, I think I like Get Bul better because they gave more banchan, pork belly and had large clams as well as the small ones. Both places are very good though.. -

Great Korean BBQ restaurant that you get a lot of things you wouldn't expect- Large seafood menu (instead of the traditional bbq meat) and large free parking lot behind the restaurant.
This place offers set menus of seafood platters for the table. Set A is for 2 people, Set B for 3 people, and Set C for 4 people. We went for the Set C for 4 people, which was a little big, but perfect portion size they recommended for our table. They have pretty good service too- they would do the cooking for us and let us know when the food was ready to eat- which was important since we haven't cooked a lot of the menu (abalone, oysters, hagfish, etc). The sides were also delicious, including the Korean pancake (pretty good) and the corn with cheese/mayo.
Overall recommend trying this place out!
